Invictus at IBC2024: Marketing Strategies That Go Beyond the Buzz

Hey there,

It’s that time of year again – IBC! I can’t help but feel excited by the hustle and sheer excitement that this event brings. It’s not just about supporting our clients; it’s about immersing ourselves in the industry, forging connections, and witnessing our hard work take shape.

IBC always brings a unique mix of chaos and excitement as we stand alongside our clients who are eager to showcase their innovations. The days leading up to IBC are a whirlwind of activity. We’re knee-deep in communications and marketing strategies, material preparations, stand planning, and much more. But when those four days of buildup culminate, and I see our clients’ stands ready and waiting for the doors of IBC to swing open, there’s no better feeling.

With seven clients exhibiting this year, even my health app was cheering me on, registering a whopping 37,000 steps daily! From the chaotic prep days to the event itself, it’s incredible to see our dedication and hard work manifest physically.

One of the highlights of my job is working with clients on their long-term marketing strategies. But let’s be honest – it’s often quite conceptual. There’s nothing tangible to touch, see, or interact with for most of the time. That’s where IBC and trade shows shine. Here, we witness our concepts evolve into designs, materials, communications, plans, and full-fledged stands, and hearing positive feedback from our clients in person is simply amazing.

I’ve always been fascinated by the technologies that drive our digital world, and IBC is a treasure trove of future innovations waiting to be discovered. I’ve even witnessed AI technology that can identify the nature and intensity of emotions in a dramatic scene and create the perfect background music to match. Cool, isn’t it?

As we bid adieu to #IBC2024, we’re already gearing up for IBC 2025. The tech and media industries move at lightning speed, and we’re more than ready to embrace what the future holds.
